In an interview with 'The New York Times,' Fox opened up about being "victim shamed" regarding #MeToo stories in the past. Almost ten years ago, Fox spoke publicly about her experiences with director
Michael Bay on two 'Transformers' movies. Fox said he commanded her to "just be sexy" and "be hot" on set. Fox was also sexualized in Bay's 2003 film 'Bad Boys II,' where she danced under a waterfall in a bikini and high heels. Fox was only 15 years old
at the time and said,
"I just did what I was told to do." The actress was ultimately fired
from the 'Transformers' franchise
for her remarks.
