Barisan Nasional chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has confirmed that MIC will be contesting the Cameron Highlands seat in the re-election.<br /><br />He said this during a special press conference at PWTC today.<br /><br />This is after MIC announced that it will not be appealing against the Election Court's ruling to vacate the Cameron Highlands parliamentary seat.<br /><br />Party president S Vigneswaran said the decision was made in light of the court's decision, the current political situation and party strategy.
