우윤근 주러대사 “김정은 연내 러시아 방문 어려워”<br /><br />There have been reports in recent weeks that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un would visit Russia before the end of the year, but the South Korean Ambassador to Moscow now says it's not likely to happen.<br />Ambassador Woo Yoon-keun , met with reporters on Thursday and said the Russians had initially hoped to have Kim at the Kremlin sometime late this year for a meeting with President Putin.<br />Moscow's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov had invited Kim during his visit to Pyeongyang in May.<br />Though there could be many reasons for the delay, Woo said, it's likely because Kim has a lot on his plate at the moment, including his planned visit to Seoul. <br />And with several other diplomatic events lined up for next year, including the second North Korea-U.S. summit, the admbassador said it's hard to project when Kim will go to Moscow. <br />
