Angela Ponce is set to make history when she takes part in the Miss Universe finals in Bangkok, Thailand on Dec 17. <br /><br />The Miss Spain said she is privileged to be taking part in the beauty pageant as the first transgender contestant, as it is something that only a few can experience.<br /><br />The Miss Universe Organization lifted a ban on transgender contestants in 2012.
