Scores of yellow vest protesters marched through Leeuwarden in the Netherlands on Saturday to protests the high cost of living.<br /><br />The yellow vest protests began in France last month as a demonstration against fuel tax rises but have since morphed into a more general opposition to French President Emmanuel Macron. <br /><br />Recently, protesters in Belgium and the Netherlands have begun their own marches also sporting the fluorescent yellow gilets. <br /><br />The protests in France have frequently been accompanied by rioting and vandalism.
