In the U.S. state of Texas, a judge has ruled that the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, is unconstitutional in its current form.<br />The decision could cause disruptions to healthcare for millions of Americans.<br />The lawsuit was brought by several states, including Texas, which argued that because Congress got rid of the tax penalty for not having insurance -- the so-called individual mandate -- the tax power of Congress can no longer be used to justify the law.<br />It was that tax penalty that the Supreme Court relied on in 2012 when Obamacare was upheld.<br />U.S. President Donald Trump, who has promised to end Obamacare, tweeted that it was a great day for America.<br />The state of California and other groups have indicated they plan to appeal.<br />
