Twenty-eight South Korean officials and experts who have been in North Korea for an on-site survey of North Korea's eastern Donghae rail line... have returned home today.<br />Since December 8th,.... they've been checking the section between the North's Geumgang-san Mountain and Duman-gang river, on bus and train, with their North Korean counterparts.<br />This completes the two Koreas' joint inspections of railways.<br />They also took a look at the western Gyeongui rail line two weeks ago, and cross-border sections in July.<br />Seoul and Pyeongyang will hold a groundbreaking ceremony next week.... to mark the start of connecting and modernizing roads and railways between each other.<br />But the actual construction will kick off later in accordance with the North's denuclearization and waivers on sanctions. <br />
