Former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il died seven years ago today.<br />As you might expect,.... North Korea has been paying tribute to him, including the leader Kim Jong-un.<br />Pyeongyang's state media Korean Central News Agency reported Monday.... that Kim visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.... to commemorate the death of his father.<br />This is his first public appearance in two weeks.... since he last visited a shoes factory in Wonsan.<br />The regime's state-run daily, the Rodong Sinmun, has posted a number of stories about Kim Jong-il since Sunday,... highlighting his achievements in economic development and improving people's livelihoods, rather than his military achievements. <br />
