Selangor Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the state Umno will convene a meeting to discuss the position of party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi if division leaders see the need to do so.<br />Ismail Sabri, who is also Umno vice-president, was responding on the calls made by party leaders for president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is facing multiple corruption charges, to step down.<br />He also said on Monday that Sabak Bernam MP Datuk Mohamad Fasiah Mohd Fakeh's decision to quit was ''regrettable'' and that he should relinquish his seat.<br />Read more at https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2018/12/17/ismail-sabri-selangor-umno-will-meet-over-zahid-if-need-arises/
