The United Nations has passed a new North Korean human rights resolution by consensus ,... condemning the regime's human rights violations and urging for improvement. <br />This is the 14th straight year such a resolution has been passed and the fifth time it has been adopted by consensus.<br />It was jointly drafted by the EU and Japan and jointly sponsored by more than 60 countries. <br />North Korea's ambassador to the UN denounced the resolution,... saying such violations do not exist and that they've been manipulated by several defectors. <br />
