Locals of Falmouth and surrounding areas have flocked to witness the Russain cargo ship that has been left stranded on Gyllyngvase Beach this morning (December 18).<br /><br />The 16,000-ton vessel beached itself as the tide receded near the Cornwall coast.<br /><br />Emergency services were called and RNLI rescue boats were deployed at around 6 am followed by the press and members of the public to feast their eyes on the wreckage.
