The trial service of a smartphone payment system called "Zero Pay" begins today here in Seoul.<br />With this system,.... customers can directly pay for products simply by scanning QR codes at stores.<br />The payment system was created by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.... to help relieve small business owners from the burden of paying credit card transaction fees which can go up to 1-point-9 percent.<br />Zero Pay charges little to no transaction fee, up to zero-point-5 percent.<br />And consumers, starting from next year,... can get a 40 percent refund on income tax deduction by using this service.<br />This service will officially launch next March.... and Seoul is planning to implement this system nationwide. <br />
