London's Gatwick Airport reopens after temporary shutdown caused by drone sightings

드론 출현 영국 개트윅 공항 운항 재개<br /><br />Over in London, passengers are finally flying in and out of Gatwick Airport, after drones flying in the area prompted officials to shut it down for more than 32 hours.<br />One of Britain's busiest airports, Gatwick was closed from Wednesday night, local time, after two large drones were spotted near the airfield.<br />The last drone sighting came more than 24 hours after the first, leaving hundreds of flights grounded and affecting more than 110-thousand passengers during the busiest travel period of the year.<br />Police are still trying to locate the device and its pilot, and are considering plans to shoot it down.<br />The UK has also deployed the army.<br />Officers say the drone flight was not terror-related but was a "deliberate act" of disruption. <br />
