A unique festival, the 'Burning of the Clocks' is celebrated in Brighton to mark the Winter Solstice on Friday. <br /><br />Handmade lanterns are carried through the city accompanied by drummers, to celebrate the shortest day of the year and to welcome in the extra daylight in the coming days. <br /><br />"It’s a wonderful unique event hosted in Brighton every year," said the filmer. "The lanterns are burnt in a huge beach bonfire at the end of the parade, as shown in the video clip."
