According to Refinery 29, US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent surgery for lung cancer.<br />Justice Ginsburg was recently diagnosed with an early stage lung cancer after five lobes were found in her lungs.<br />A spokesperson for the Supreme Court said that Justice Ginsburg had lobes removed during surgery.<br />A statement from the Supreme Court indicated that a pathology evaluation determined the nodules removed during surgery were malignant. <br />
