Residents of Amansiara and villagers of Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Lagong are against a proposal to degazette a land within the Bukit Lagong Forest Reserve for a housing development project.<br /><br />Some 1,065 signatures were collected over the past three weeks as the residents there were concerned about the impact the project would have on them and wildlife in the area.
