In another example of how seriously the South Korean government is taking efforts to boost the economy,... President Moon Jae-in, himself, is chairing today's meeting of the National Economic Advisory Council.<br />The meeting started moments ago with about 30 officials attending the meeting.<br />It's likely that President Moon, his economic advisers and ministers will first evaluate the government's big economic thrust this year,... such as income-led growth and sharply hiking the minimum wage. <br />They are also expected to discuss and take a closer look at the economic policy direction for the new year.<br />This is the first time in exactly a year since the president last presided over one of the council's meetings. <br />
