According to CNN, oil prices rose sharply the day after Christmas, recovering its losses from Christmas Eve.<br />On the day for Dec. 26th, US crude oil rose by 8.7-percent, after falling nearly 7-percent two days before.<br />The gains for Dec. 26th also mark the best day for West Texas Intermediate crude oil since November, 2016.<br />But oil prices are still down more than 38-percent since they hit four-year highs back in October.<br />However the global benchmark for crude oil is trading near its lowest price since August, 2017. <br />
