U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that most of the people not getting paid in the ongoing U.S. government shutdown are Democrats. <br />In a Thursday tweet, he once again stressed his need for funds to build his border wall with Mexico, saying Democrats are the ones who are suffering financially from the impasse.<br />His tweet comes a day after he claimed many federal workers support his call for more border wall funding and are willing to stay on unpaid leave.<br />Democrats criticized Trump's tweet, arguing that federal workers are not the partisans the president has made them out to be. <br />
