Two American chess players decided to have a game in Antarctica earlier this month inspired by the world championships in London.<br /><br />The match between James Van Steenkiste and Peter Horvath took place at the Union Glacier expedition camp, six hundred miles from the South Pole.<br /><br />Van Steenkiste eventually claimed victory after 12 minutes in temperatures of minus 10 degrees.<br /><br />The clip was captured on December 17.
