Learn how to make Katori Chaat at home with Chef Bhumika Bhurani on Rajshri Food.<br /><br />Chaat is everyone's favourite, but we think twice before eating it. Chef Bhumika is here with a Katori Chaat recipe that is hygienic and tasty at the same time. Do try it at home and share it with your friends and family.<br /><br />Ingredients;<br />For the Tokri<br />1 cup Flour<br />2 tbsp Oil<br />Carom seeds<br />Salt<br />Baking powder<br />Black Pepper, crushed<br />Oil for greasing<br /><br />For the Filling<br />Green Mung Beans, boiled<br />1 Onion, finely chopped<br />1 Tomato, deseeded & chopped<br />1 Potato, boiled & chopped<br />Sweet Yogurt<br />Tamarind Chutney<br />Mint & Coriander Chutney<br />Pomegranate<br />Chaat Masala<br />Salt<br />Nylon Sev<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />For the Tokri<br />In a bowl, add flour, hot oil and mix well.<br />Add carom seeds, salt, baking powder, black pepper, give it a good stir and then add water.<br />Knead it into a dough, take a small portion and roll it thin.<br />Prick the dough with the help of a fork, place it on a bowl or a cupcake tin and grease it with oil.<br />Bake it at 160°C for 10-12 mins.<br />Once they're done baking, let them cool down.<br /><br />For the Filling<br />In a bowl add green mung beans, onion, tomato, potato, yoghurt, tamarind chutney, mint & coriander chutney, pomegranate, give it a good toss.<br />Season the mixture with chaat masala, salt, <br /><br />Assembling:<br />Take a tokri, fill it with the mixture and top it with pomegranate seeds, tamarind chutney and nylon sev.<br />Our Tokri Chaat is ready to serve.
