Deputy Education Minister Teo Nie Ching says students will be allowed to wear white shoes in 2019 and 2020 because the ministry does not intend to burden parents.<br /><br />According to Teo, the Education Ministry's requirement for students to wear black shoes will only be enforced in 2021.
