Rush hour pedestrians walked through steam clouds vented through stacks on the streets of Manhattan on January 3.<br /><br />This video shows vapour rising up from the city's steam system, used to heat and cool buildings especially in this time of year.<br /><br />The footage was filmed at hte intersection of Warren Street and Greenwich Street that evening.
