FCC Chairman Ajit Pai won't be attending the Consumer Technology Association's CES in Las Vegas next week.<br />According to Broadcasting & Cable, it's the second year in a row Pai has pulled out.<br />Pai's office say the government shutdown--and uncertainty about how long it would last--precipitated the decision.<br />Whether FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr will also cancel his appearance is unclear. <br />
