U.S. President Donald Trump says he is confident Washington and Beijing will reach a deal to bring to an end to their months-long trade dispute that has shaken global financial markets.<br /> Speaking to reporters at the White House on Friday, President Trump said talks are underway with China "at the highest levels."<br />While a U.S. delegation will be in Beijing for negotiations on Monday, Trump said he and President Xi Jin-ping have already been actively engaged in talks.<br />Trump added that China's slowing economy gives the U.S. an upper hand in negotiations. <br />The two sides set a 90-day truce in December and are working to reach an agreement by the March deadline. <br />
