Bohemian Rhapsody, directed by Bryan Singer and Dexter Fletcher, won the best drama film at the 76th annual Golden Globe Awards.<br /><br />The Freddie Mercury biopic bagged the award despite fierce competition from Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born, which was widely expected to become the ceremony’s biggest winner. <br /><br />Nicole Kidman announced the name of the film taking home two top prizes — best drama film and best actor for Rami Malek, who plays Queen front man Freddie Mercury. <br /><br />Other winners included the Peter Farrelly comedy drama Green Book. <br /><br />Actor Olivia Colman won best actress (comedy) for her role as Queen Anne in The Favourite.<br />
