Incessant rain in the night and pre-dawn hours caused parts of Bau district in southern Sarawak to be hit by floods on Tuesday.<br /><br />Roads were hit by flash floods while 143 people from 28 houses in Kampung Bijuray in the district were evacuated when their houses were affected by rising water.
