An old man narrowly escaped being crashed into by an out-of-control car smashing onto a pavement in southern China.<br /><br />The terrifying video, filmed in Suining City in Sichuan Province on January 7, shows a car suddenly rushing onto a pavement and stopping right beside an elderly man, standing in front of a shop and seemingly unmoved by his near-death experience.<br /><br />According to reports, five people were injured and sent to hospital for treatment while eight vehicles were damaged. <br /><br />The car driver was arrested and the case was being investigated by police.
