After a non-violent standoff in Leicester city centre on Friday afternoon (January 11) an elderly man took a tumble when he tried to attack another man.<br /><br />The attempted attack which took place on Granby Street at around 4:00 pm was caught on camera by a passing student.<br /><br />A woman, who tried to keep the two men apart to stop any violence from happening, can be heard shrieking throughout the video to the amusement of the filmer and passersby.<br /><br />The elderly man can be heard cursing profusely at the younger man before slipping up, bringing the confrontation seemingly to a premature close. <br /><br />The filmer told Newsflare: "I was walking back home from paying my rent with my earphones in and then I started to hear screaming. <br /><br />“So I took my earphones out and started recording what was happening.<br /><br />“I was confused at first, then found it funny, In Leicester, you see weird things all the time but this one was especially crazy”
