Tabung Haji chief executive officer Zukri Samat said that the Islamic Pilgrimage Fund, Lembaga Tabung Haji was not supposed to have paid out dividends for 2017.<br /><br />He said this was according to the Tabung Haji Act 1995 which states that the fund is not allowed to pay dividends if certain criterias are not met.<br /><br />Zukri added that with recovery measures in place, the fund has manged to close the gap for 2018 and will be able to pay a dividend in accordance with the law.
