Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj's <br />Albums Go Platinum the Same Day Wayne's album, 'Tha Carter V,' debuted <br />at No.1 on the 'Billboard' 200 when it was released. It marked his fourth album <br />to reach the No. 1 spot. Minaj's album, 'Queen,' debuted <br />at No. 2 on the same chart but was never able to claim the top spot due to Travis Scott's 'Astroworld.' The album still managed <br />to reach Gold status <br />in less than a month. On Friday, both Wayne's and Minaj's albums were certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), giving Young Money, <br />Wayne's label, a reason to celebrate. Minaj is also poised to possibly <br />become the first female rapper <br />to ever sell 100 million units.
