British Prime Minister Theresa May will stay in office for now after she survived a no-confidence vote in parliament. <br />It comes less than a day after Tuesday's devastating defeat for her Brexit deal.<br />For more on this and other news around the world we turn to our Ro Aram…<br />Aram…what's the latest? <br /><br />Well Mark… Mrs. May's government managed to survive the no confidence by only 19 votes. <br />This is by no means a victory for the prime minister as the slim margin still suggests MPs are losing trust in her government. <br />The confidence vote was called by the opposition Labour Party in the wake of May's crushing defeat on her divorce deal. <br />The prime minister vowed to work with parliament to move with the Brexit process.<br /><br />"…….I believe this duty is shared by every member of this House and we have a responsibility to identify a way forward that can secure the backing of the House. To that end I have proposed a series of meetings between senior parliamentarians and representatives of the government over the coming days and I would like to invite the leaders of parliamentary parties to meet with me individually and I would like to start these meetings tonight."<br /><br />Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn, meanwhile, said he was not willing to enter talks with the prime minister until she ruled out a no deal Brexit.<br /><br />"……Before there can be any positive discussions about the way forward, the government must remove clearly, once and for all, the prospect of the catastrophe of a no deal Brexit from the EU and all the chaos that would come as a result of that…."<br /><br />With only about two months left until Britain is scheduled to leave the EU, there is still not clear way forward. <br />There are several options that could happen from now;…. to delay the exit, renegotiate the divorce agreement, crash out without a deal, or hold another referendum and not exit at all. <br />Mrs. May has a few days to come with an alternative Brexit deal, which she said she would put up for debate in parliament on Monday. <br />
