Fortnite Security Flaw <br />Allowed Hackers to <br />Take Over Players' Accounts Fortnite says that it <br />immediately informed <br />its developer, Epic Games. Epic Games says it <br />fixed the security <br />holes earlier this month. Hackers were able to <br />make game purchases using <br />hacked players' credit cards. They were also able to <br />pose as players in chats <br />that are part of the game. The did so by <br />exploiting flaws in <br />Epic's web infrastructure. Hackers were able <br />to intercept authentic <br />login "tokens" of users. Epics says they encourage players to <br />"protect their accounts by not re-using <br />passwords and using strong passwords." They also encourage <br />players not to share<br />"account information with others."
