U.S. lawmakers have proposed a bill that would ban the sale of American chips and other components to Chinese tech firms deemed to have violated U.S. sanctions.<br />Federal prosecutors are reportedly investigating companies Huawei on suspicion of stealing trade secrets from T-Mobile.<br />Huawei said in a statement that it had settled the dispute the telecoms giant two years ago.<br />The introduction of the bills is likely to escalate already tense trade tensions between Washington and Beijing. <br />
