Sony Music <br />Drops R. Kelly The singer has been involved <br />in scandal for more than two <br />decades over accusations of sexual <br />misconduct, including pedophilia. The recent documentary, <br />'Surviving R. Kelly,' has <br />prompted calls for <br />the company to drop him. He was removed <br />from the RCA Records <br />website on Friday. Sony Music is the <br />parent company of RCA. Representatives from <br />both companies have <br />declined to comment. Insiders say Sony <br />has been working <br />for months to terminate <br />the contract with Kelly. He was charged <br />and cleared of child <br />pornography in the early 2000s. In recent years, he's been <br />accused of holding women <br />captive in a "sex cult." Kelly has consistently <br />maintained his innocence.
