There's a possiblity that the U.S. tariffs on Korean steel and aluminum announced by the Trump administration last March, for national security reasons,... will be lowered.<br />A preliminary decision by the U.S. Court of International Trade released last week... challenged the 76-percent anti-dumping duties imposed by the commerce department... on oil country tubular goods from Korea.<br />Those duties, on top of an import quota, were expected to heavily restrain Korean steel pipe exports to the U.S.<br />The court said the commerce department's claim that a so-called "particular market situation" existed with respect to Korean steel -- that its price was distorted -- was not justified. <br />
