This must be the only bar in the world where you can enjoy your favourite alcoholic beverage while watching a crane rummage through mounds of rubbish.<br /><br />The Waste-Pit Bar is now open for business at a refuse collection centre in Tokyo, Japan and is aiming to attract customers with an interest in learning about waste disposal, according to the people behind the project. <br /><br />"This event is for adults to enjoy alcohol while learning about the waste disposal facility in front of the waste pit," said Ayana Seki from the Musashino Clean Centre. <br /><br />"We also want to increase awareness about classifying disposable waste correctly to avoid accidents and make the process of recycling as smooth as possible," she added. <br /><br />The bar will also be serving healthy food but you might not want to gaze into the mounds of household waste below you as you eat it.
