The South Korean government will be temporarily shutting down some old coal-fired power plants to help clean up the country's air, which has been clogged lately with fine dust.<br />An official at the presidential office said the plants will be shut down between March and June,... one of several measures being considered to deal with the fine dust.<br />The official also addressed soaring home prices.<br />He said the government will take yet more steps, without delay, to stabilize them if need be.<br />It will also expand welfare support linked to housing.<br />Home prices, he said, are not yet as stable as the Moon Jae-in administration would like.<br />
