The 33rd Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival opened in Beijing on January 20.<br /><br />The drone video shows several workers carving the giant ice cubes to form different shapes. The completed productions are then lit up by colourful lights. <br /><br />The festival theme was: “Enjoy the ice and snow; Meet at Word horticultural Exhibitions”. There are three exhibition areas: colourful lights area, ice sculptures area and entertainment area.
