This is the remarkable moment a kitty called Max was finally revealed to be the cat burglar who'd been swiping the neighbours' newspapers. <br /><br />The cat's owner had for a while been coming home to find the local rag on the doorstep of their home in Wainuiomata, New Zealand. <br /><br />"I always thought it was one of my cats by the teeth marks in the paper but last night we got video evidence," Max's owner said. <br /><br />The clip shows Max walking nonchalantly away from the neighbour's property with a tabloid in his mouth. <br /><br />He then leaps over the fence to bring the stolen goods back to his home. <br /><br />So, while the identity of this feline felon may have been revealed, no one has yet established a motive.
