The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum kicked off on Tuesday, with hundreds of the world's political and business elite gathering in Davos.<br />They are due to discuss ongoing trade disputes,... an anticipated global economic slowdown, Brexit and geopolitical tensions.<br />Due to such concerns,... a significant number of countries won't be taking part in the alpine meeting. <br />Out of the world's seven largest economies, only the leaders of Japan, Germany and Italy are due to attend.<br />Leaders of some non-G7 countries, including India and Russia, have also decided to stay at home. <br />
