Two men came across a kangaroo who needed their help during one of their trips out at work in the burning heat in southwest Australia.<br /><br />The clip, filmed in New South Wales on January 16 shows a man, Steve, attempt to cool down a kangaroo who was sitting in a trough on his land.<br /><br />“In drought-stricken Outback Australia, with no food and 54 degrees Celsius (130 F) heat, the wild animals are past being cautious and let you into their space,” says Steve.<br /><br />“I found this one sitting in a stock trough so I just went up and splashed water over it to cool off,” he continued.<br /><br />“We run 4x4 off-road races (Cliffhanger4x4.com) in the Outback and come across sorts of crazy stuff. On this occasion we happened to have a phone to capture the moment,” said the filmer.
