A carousel with real horses tied to metal pillars at Nantong Forest Wildlife Zoo in eastern China has angered visitors.<br /><br />The video shows six horses being tied to the metal pillars and walking in circles.<br /><br />The filmer said: "How can they make the horses so obedient? Is it a bit cruel?"<br /><br />According to the zoo, it was an innovation on the form of the normal carousel and is not against the law.<br /><br />However, some netizens were unhappy with the amusement rides. <br /><br />Comments on Chinese Twitter-like service Weibo included complaints such as: "What is the meaning of using the real horses? It is a retrogression of civilization as they do not know how to respect lives."<br /><br />"It is really weird and cruel! I will not play it."<br /><br />"Why you do not tie human being on it to innovate?"
