Policemen rescued an elderly man in his 80s that fell into an icy river in Beijing on January 28.<br /><br />Video of the scene shows a policeman trying to use a tree branch to pull the old man up, but falling into the river as the surface of the ice breaks. <br /><br />Another policeman tries to help but is dragged into the river by the old man. <br /><br />With the help of other police officers, firefighters and nearby citizens, the old man is pulled out of the river and dragged to the shore safely.<br /><br />The old man, as well as two other policemen who were injured during the rescue, were sent to hospital for treatment. <br /><br />Fortunately, they were all not in life-threatening condition.
