This is the terrifying moment a leopard launches an attack on residents of Jalandhar city in northern India.<br /><br />The wild cat was spotted inside a house this morning (January 31).<br /><br />Police and Forest Department officials arrived at the scene to capture the animal using a tranquilliser gun.<br /><br />Footage shows the wild cat attacking an official before jumping up a wall and running away through an alley and across a field nearby, attacking at least six people on its rampage.<br /><br />Attempts to capture the leopard have failed as the animal is still on the loose, according to latest reports.
