A pair of 55-metre-long and five-metre-wide couplets have been created in the hometown of Chinese calligraphy on January 28.<br /><br />The video, filmed in Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province, shows hundreds of people writing Fu (fortune) character on a square platform in the middle of the set of couplets.<br /><br />Several calligraphers wrote out the couplets themselves on site to send out best wishes.<br /><br />The World Record Association (WRA) declared the 648-square-metre couplets as the largest couplets in the world.
