Chilling images have come from the lakefront of Toronto, Canada during the polar vortex, as the combination of freezing winds and lake spray have left the shore encased in ice. <br /><br />Footage from yesterday morning (January 30) shows coin-operated binoculars and ropes on the pier at Burlington on the shores of Lake Ontario, sealed in a thick coat of ice shaped into ribbed icicles by the wind.
