A woman working at a government office in Pekanbaru, Riau, western Indonesia, was injured after her smartphone exploded in her hand while she was making a call on Monday (February 4). <br /><br />The woman, Netia, 27, received facial injuries when her phone exploded while being charged at her desk as she picked it up to make a call. She can be seen in CCTV footage immediately getting up and running away, before fainting and being rushed to hospital by colleagues. <br /><br />She was taken to Awal Bros Hospital, where she was treated for lacerations to her face.
