Resident Evil 7 brings horror back to the series, after Resident Evil 5 and 6 released it was clear that Resi Evil had suffered an identity crisis of sorts. Capcom then asked fans what they wanted to see from the 7th entry in the series and fans unanimously asked the 7th game return to the series survival horror roots.
