The ancient game of "fire hockey" was filmed at a Mayan archaeological site in southern Mexico, as players passed and shot a ball of fire to each other. <br /><br />The sport, also called "pelota purépecha", was believed to have been developed up to 3500 years ago and was demonstrated at Xcaret Park, in Quintana Roo state, Mexico. <br /><br />This video was filmed on September 18, 2018.
